Crossing from La Vall de Bianya to La Cerdanya
Last weekend we organized a round trip to the Pyrenees. We got an order, by some hardeners, so that we could organize a three-day route from the Vall de Bianya to La Cerdanya. The formation should be in the form of a loop and with established premises of kilometers and schedules that we had to comply with. How not, we accepted the challenge and got down to work.
The tour, It had to be as much as possible Offroad and we got it after a great screening of sections. The result was, a journey through three stages, driving on broken tracks, also some wide slopes and trails of great beauty. Little asphalt, some more concrete tracks, but this area is what it is and we must adjust and settle for what there is.
At Vol’s Offroad we love to work à la carte, get out of the comfort zone and look for new routes. This way of working allows us to explore the territory and thus know and test new tracks and different ways of linking them, in the end we will surely incorporate a new route to our portfolio.
Let's go to the tour, I have already told you that we cross areas of great beauty, how: La Vall de Bianya, Santigosa, the Taga, The Ribes Valley, the Cadí-Moixeró, Hill of the Lagoon, Meranges forest, The Valleys of Valira, Serra de Gisclareny, The Catllaràs, La Serra de Milany and some other that we stop naming.
The riders were delighted with the route and we were satisfied with the work done. Nothing, to continue and above all to leave COVID-19 behind.
