CHRISTOPH DEL BONDIO TRANSPYRENEAN from VOL’s Offroad
Transpirenaica por Vol’s Offroad. The Pyrenees mountain range is a real stronghold, a natural border, which rises majestically northeast of the Iberian Peninsula, between Catalonia, Spain, Andorra and France, crossing over 400 linear km from the Mediterranean Sea (Cap de Creus) in the East, to the Cantabrian Sea (Bay of Biscay) to West.
The mythical journey TRANSPYRENEAN, also known as "two seas", Walk this natural border, on a journey in which the rider enjoy the untamed nature of this mountain, and you know the cuisine of these towns, He is fascinated by its legends and stories, but what is most important, You discover every day, stage by stage in this route, emotions, experiences, shared moments along the way.
The tracks we will follow, many of them, are the ones learned in CdB Travel Adventure Event, who led the missing Christoph Del Bondio, our mentor. He dominated this route, she showed it to us and made us part of her passion for it. Your collaborators will always keep you in mind and we like to keep your memory alive. We don't think there is anyone in the world who has completed it so many times. Christoph planned countless itineraries and variants, but in October 2018, his last Transpy, we still discovered together a beautiful new track, is what this route has, always keeps you a new corner to discover. For all these reasons we have believed that it is more than deserved., call her by name.
The route of this TRANSPYRENEAN crosses a 1.700 Km in the Pyrenees, from the Mediterranean Sea (Cap de Creus) Cantabrian Sea (Cabo Higer). Stages run between towns, Hotels, rural houses i shelters, so no need to worry about logistics, VOL's Offroad does for you.
For those who do not have time to do it once, we offer the possibility of doing the TRANSPYRENEAN in two parts, we call it ½ transpi. We also have a program to do it in three parts.
½ CdB TRANSPIRENAICA ‘MEDIA’ from VOL’s Offroad
